Who we are

The Lumby & District Health Services Society (LDHSS) was founded in 1974 and is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors .

If you provide your contact information through this website to subscribe to our e-newsletter, we will use your contact information to send you emails about upcoming events, health information and other related information and promotional news items.

If you provide your contact information through this website to register for an event, we will use it to communicate to you about that event and possible future related events. Payment and financial information is protected by the third party services used, such as but not limited to, Stripe, EventBrite, PayPal.

If you follow a link through this site to another platfrom, for example to request an appointment with a doctor or other health care professional through this site, or to another service, LDHSS shall not collect your personal information and you will be connected with a third party service and under their records management and privacy policy.

If you do not wish your personal image used on this website or social media, you can let us know by contacting us at https://lumbyhealthcentre.org/contact-us/ We use photos from public events with or without permission. If you pose for a photo with the LDHSS you are giving your permission to use your photo on the internet website, in our publications and social media. If you do not wish to be included in a published photo on the internet, please contact us and we will remove your images at your request. Printed images cannot be changed after publication. Note that visitors to the website may be able to download and extract information including any location and other data from images on the website.

We retain your contact information through our enewsletter and event registration software. It can be removed upon request or by your own actions such as unsubscribe buttons on each enewsletter email.
